Jon has an extensive background in music education, having taught guitar both privately for 20 years, and in larger school settings in collaboration with the Mark Wood “Electrify Your Strings” (EYS) national music education programs. EYS has taught thousands of children across America the value of music as a part of their lives, help to build confidence and tap into their creative abilities.

Students of all ages and levels will get a hands-on approach to guitar techniques covering a wide range of musical interests and styles. Lessons focus on chords, rhythm,scales, improvisation, reading music, learning songs and theory.

Jon teaches Electric, Acoustic and Bass guitar.

Many of Jon's students have gone on to attend the most prestigious music colleges in the country, some on scholarships. Others have become successful recording artists who have toured around the world.
